IP Network Directory

The IP Network is a Special Interest Group (SIG) open to businesses involved in the hi-tech industry, in particular information and communications technology (ICT).

The IP Network is led by the Suffolk Chamber of Commerce, and acts as the ICT Sector Group for the New Anglia LEP. It is run in partnership with Innovation Martlesham, the regional ICT Enterprise Hub based at BT’s European research and development campus in Suffolk, and is chaired by Neil Miles, managing director of Ipswich based Smart421 Ltd.

The IP Network Directory has been created to:

  • allow Suffolk ICT companies to register themselves in a local directory of service providers
  • provide a searchable listing of Suffolk ICT companies accessible to potential customers and partners
  • categorise ICT companies by ICT Sub Sectors
  • Software Packages and Information Systems – this includes COTS applications, databases, operating systems, utilities, Software as a Service
  • IT Hardware – servers, storage, firewalls, switches etc.
  • Software Development Services – analysis, development, testing, implementation
  • Data Services – data processing, database services, data classification
  • Internet Services – ISP, search engines, domain name services
  • Hosting Services – Data Centres, Cloud Hosting, Platform as a Service
  • IT Support Services – Service Integration and Management, application support, technology support
  • IT Consulting Services – IT Strategy, Project and Programme Management, Business and Process Analysis, IT Architecture
  • Infrastructure Services – WAN, LAN, infrastructure management
  • IT Security – Specialist IT Security Product & Services

The IP Network Directory runs in parallel with the main IP Network webpages contained within the Suffolk Chamber of Commerce websites. The IP Network Directory has been funded by the New Anglia LEP.
